The Floyd Artisan Market will open every Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm beginning Mothers Day weekend, May 10, 2014. The artisan market connects consumers directly with our existing community of heritage craft artisans and musicians to form the backdrop for a dynamic creative economy. Goods available include jewelry, clothing, candles, hand-built and thrown pottery, soaps, photography, primitive dolls and art, teas and herbal remedies, and musical instruments.
Beginning May 25, 2014 the Floyd farmers market will open every Saturday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm with locally-produced foods including fresh produce, clean meats and poultry, cheeses and herbs, flowers, baked goods &and more. The market will operate under The Floyd Community Market pavilion at 200 S. Locust Street in downtown Floyd across from the Floyd Country Store between The Loft and The Station.
